“ 3 of us checked this spot out over the weekend around 1pm, no reservations in hand on a Sunday. The wait was 25 minutes but we got lucky with 3 seats opening in a booth in the bar area. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance all contributed to the 4 star rating. The food is good, solid, pub fare - but nothing to write home about in my opinion. The wings were good, but not "blow my socks off" good. The way the wings were described and the awards it won, I would expect a lot more. They were standard wings I get at any bar. I enjoyed my chicken pot pie. The filling was savory, chicken was of good quality and cooked well, and puff pastry was nice on top. Note - this isn't a full pot pie with the crust etc. For a party of 3 and 2 rounds of beer, 2 orders of six wings, and 1 entree per person, including tip our bill came to $180. I liked the vibe of the bar. A great no fuss pub, with solid food and solid beer list. ”

“ We've been eating here forever. Sometimes there's long gaps in between visits. The sign of a great place is this: regardless of how long it's been, whenever you visit, it feels exactly the same as it always has. Tonight was more of the same. Bar area, comfortable and friendly. Food, excellent. Chicken Pot Pie, Big Salad, Cheddar & Ale Soup and of course, Dirty wings. If it wasn't Dry January, I'd have added a Black and Tan. Keep up the good work J.Tims! ”

“ It's always great to find things on the menu that work when doing keto. The Gorgonzola Caesar salad plate was delicious! The beef patty was definitely ground sirloin and delicious. The other dish our party tried was the short rib melt which was good too! The service is always consistent here and the tavern atmosphere is unmatched! Also worth mentioning was the unsweetened iced tea, which was fresh and delicious. ”

“ So we have been here several times but never on a Friday! tonight we were running errands and it was PACKED!! Good for them, as it should be. Instead of dining in we did take out and set it to pick up after we were done. we called in a to go order and I was blown away with the whole process. (I work in the industry and you can tell effort was put into streamlining this operation). When I called they asked if I was just doing wings, they told me what time slots they have available simple. It was seamless. When I got there , I love that there is literally a separate room for to go, so it was not overwhelming for a host or a bartender. They had a lot of merch and beers to goin that room, which crossed another thing off my to do list! (Beers) My order was ready right when they said, which is a bonus. The staff I interacted with this evening from the phone to the register and the host were all super friendly, and seemed well trained! Nicely done JTIMS !! I'm sure you don't need to hear any of this based off the business and happy faces in there! but hopefully it's nice to hear! ”

“ My CT native friend has been raving about this place to me for years so I finally got to try it a few months ago. The space is huge inside, with a second floor. There's a combination of bar seating, high tops, and booths. We had no trouble getting seated. The service was also great! For food, we got: - Tater tot poutine: good but probably wouldn't get again to save space for the wings - dirt style original buffalo: such an interesting texture because of the way they're prepared. Really liked the level of sauce - Buffalo chipotle dry rub: a great accompaniment to the more saucy wing for interesting variety of textures and mouth feels. surprisingly really liked it (maybe more than the other ones we got!) In my opinion, the food is a little pricey for what I feel like I'm getting. Having said that, would definitely visit again if I had a craving for wings and an adventure ”

“ This place is super busy but will accommodate about a thousand LOL !! Seriously at least 7 different dining areas 2 different X-mas parties upstairs, Huge bar area, seat urself dining room, or get added to the wait list! It was a Friday nite & we were still sat down within 30 minutes!! We ordered a bucket of wings (50 wings $60 worth it!!) plus we had the Cookie Monster ice cream for $3 !! Very yummy!! I really like the fact that they were very organized considering so many ppl !! ”

I CANNOT stand a chicken wing with flappy skin dangling like a chicken gizzard Received our table within minutes of sitting down (upstairs or bar area only), and our food was practically out before I even put my menu down! Dinner was about a 25 minute wait on a Friday night, parking lot completely packed, and the tables as well. By far the quickest, cleanest and accurate place I've been to eat! Hot buffalo and the sweet and spicy are a must! Just enough kick, but not to sweet like it's a treat Very face paced environment, so you need to flag down the servers, but they are very quick, accurate and friendly! Will definitely come again! ”
